Distressed...me?

As you can probably tell I am really loving the LOTV stamps. I am fighting the temptation to buy some of their gorgeous new releases until I have made some more cards with the last batch I bought. I know...who am I kidding? I'll be ordering some this weekend! Fun times ahead...

The challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies this week is 'A Little Bit Distressed'. I'm not very experienced in distressing but I had a go. Its a basic card but I love the image so much, especially the little dog!

Fabulous Footy

I made this card for my nephew's birthday. I love the Lili of the Valley stamps; this one is called 'Super Striker'. The football boot charm was the perfect find! Noah loves to play football (soccer) and I'm sure he will love this card because his favourite colour is orange. I am entering it into the Lili's Little Fairies challenge this week - the theme is 'time to play'.

Little Lavender Bags

I made these little lavender bags a while ago as gifts for friends. The lavender was freshly picked from a  friends garden and smelt divine! I'm still working on renewing my sewing machine skills...it's a slow process!!

In The Garden

The challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies this week is 'In the Garden' and so I made this card using a lovely LOTV stamp. Its pretty busy compared to my usual stuff, but I think I like it! I added the little birds, a pearl on her shoe strap and tiny pearls in the centre of the blue flowers on the backing paper. The flourishes and flowers finished it off nicely and the 'bless our nest' stamp is one from a set by Unity Stamp Company that I have had for ages and never used.

Yoga Yoga Yoga...

I was inspired to make some yoga themed cards for my Mum's yoga teacher who hasn't been well. I just need to make a little gift pack to put them in. I made some spares so that I could give one to my yoga teacher too. I think they are really fun. I also just bought Magnolia's yoga Tilda stamp, so I can add some of those too when I get a chance to make them.

These are mini cards

Birthday Bunny

I sent this cute little bunny card to our God daughter in England. Its a simple card, but I like the colour combo. I love orange, its such a vibrant and positive colour. In colour therapy orange and yellow are the colours of joy and happiness.

The stamp is from Lili of the valley and is coloured using Copics. I added some Stampin' Up crystal effects over the balloon, so although it doesn't show in the photo, the balloon has a glossy finish. I also added some little silver glittery circles to the cake.
