The challenge over at Totally gorjuss this week is 'Leaf it in!' so I created this card using a LOTV stamp that has cute little bunny swinging from a leafy branch. I also used some delicate peach coloured leaves that I had, and flowers that blended nicely.

Feeling fruity...
The challenge over at Simon Says Stamp this week is 'fruity'! At first I thought that was me counted out, and then I realised that I have this lovely stamp from Stampin' Up with pears on it that I have had for a long time. Its nice because its suitable for men or women and can be used for just about any occasion.
I stamped onto watercolour paper and painted it using inks from ink pads.
Gorjuss Christmas
The challenge over at Totally Gorjuss this week is titled 'It's Christmas'. I have this Gorjuss stamp which I just adore and I love the simplicity of the card I made using it.
When I went to tie the bow I didn't really think through the fact that the ribbon was patterned on one side, but look at how lovely it turned out (by accident!). The little label tag was made using a Stampin' Up punch. The little green metal clip with the star shaped hole I have had for ages and have no idea when or where I got it, which is a shame because I'd love to buy more! The card is long and narrow which makes a nice change from the norm.

Bingo!
I love this stamp from Art Impressions, its so fun. It came with the sentiment 'born to be wild!' but while I was colouring it in I had this image of a lady rushing to get to her weekly bingo and so the theme of the card was decided. I am sending it to my mum's friend who goes to bingo and also has a cat, not unlike the one in the image!
I used crystal effects on the glasses to give a sheen. I also added the gems for earrings and a necklace, and tiny red gems on the shoes and handbag clasp.
I just love the expression on the cats face!!!

Kaiser mini chest and matching banner
I made this Kaisercraft mini chest of drawers for my niece Rasmi for her birthday, and also a pennant banner to match. I love the paper from the Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove collection, its so delicate and feminine.
I didn't manage to get a good photo of the banner...sorry!
I started by painting the pieces of the chest in Kaisercolour paint. The colour was called soft moss which is a yellow based green. This complimented the Magnolia grove collection papers really nicely. I then assembled all of the parts. I didn't photograph every step because it didn't occur to me to be honest!
I decorated the top with a Kaisercraft pearl flourish, an assortment of paper flowers and then topped it off with a ribbon bow and an 'R' charm, for Rasmi.
The paper I used on the back is probably my favourite pattern, its so beautiful.
For the banner I used my Stampin' Up banner die and the Magnolia Grove collection of paper again. Its difficult to see in the photo, but I used ribbon to hold the whole banner together and then a layer of lace over the ribbon on the ends to hang the banner up with. The lace looked really pretty and gave it a slightly more vintage feel.
I added some paper flowers on either end to give a bit of dimension
So I hope my niece likes them. I was thinking the chest would make a nice little jewellery box or trinket holder.

Another gorgeous LOTV stamp
I made this card today for my niece Rasmi as it's her birthday next week. Yes its ANOTHER Lily of the Valley stamp...I'm addicted! This may be the first year I've actually mailed her card and present on time, and I even made her gifts this year. Hopefully she will like them. I will post photos of the presents next week.
I have also entered it into the challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies this week, the theme being 'anything goes'.

Something Simple
The challenge over at Totally Gorjuss this week is 'Something Simple', so I decided to make a card for my friend Emma to say thank you for being a friend that I really couldn't manage without. The cute stamped image from LOTV reminds me of our chats over a nice cuppa.
